Snow White Pseudotropheus
(Pseudotropheus socolofi “Snow White”)
The Snow White Pseudotropheus is a striking Mbuna from Lake Malawi, admired for its crisp white to pale cream coloration that contrasts beautifully against rockwork and darker aquarium backgrounds. This unique colour morph brings all the classic mbuna personality, with a clean, eye-catching look that makes it a true feature fish in African cichlid setups.
Active, bold, and full of character, Snow White Pseudotropheus thrive in rocky aquariums with plenty of caves and hiding spaces. Like most mbuna, they do best in species-only or African cichlid communities with appropriate stocking to help manage aggression. When kept correctly, they are hardy, long-lived, and incredibly engaging to watch.
An excellent choice for aquarists wanting a bright, high-contrast showpiece for a Malawi setup.
