The Snow White Pseudotropheus is a striking Lake Malawi mbuna, admired for its solid white to pale cream coloration that stands out brilliantly against rockwork and darker tank backgrounds. This unique colour morph offers all the classic mbuna behaviour with a clean, eye-catching look that makes it a true feature fish in African cichlid setups.

Active and bold, Snow White Pseudotropheus thrive in rocky aquariums with plenty of caves and hiding spots. Like most mbuna, they do best in species or African cichlid–only tanks with appropriate stocking levels to manage aggression. When kept correctly, they are hardy, long-lived, and incredibly engaging to watch.

An excellent choice for aquarists wanting a bright, high-contrast cichlid for their Malawi tank.
