Panda Cory Catfish (Corydoras panda)

The Panda Cory Catfish is an animated, distinctively marked schooling fish that is perfect for community and planted aquariums. It is easily identified by its light pink/tan body with a black dorsal fin, black eye stripe, and a black spot at the base of its tail. Their lively personality makes a school of Panda Corys the stars of many aquariums.

Behaviour & Compatibility

Panda Cory Catfish are peaceful schooling fish compatible with most nano and community aquarium species. They may eat dwarf shrimp fry but are generally safe with adult dwarf shrimp.

As classic scavengers, they inhabit and feed along the aquarium floor, which should be composed of sand or smooth gravel. Coarse substrate can damage their delicate barbels and underbelly. This species is otherwise undemanding and will accept most dry and frozen foods. They are adaptable to most tropical freshwater conditions as long as standard maintenance is performed.
