Golden Rainbow Sharks are a striking and active freshwater fish, admired for their vibrant golden-yellow coloration and bold personality. A colour variation of the popular Rainbow Shark, these fish make an eye-catching feature in larger aquariums and are best suited to aquarists looking for an energetic bottom-dwelling species.

Epalzeorhynchos frenatum are intelligent and constantly on the move, often patrolling the bottom regions of the aquarium and exploring caves, driftwood, and rockwork. While generally peaceful toward mid and upper-level fish, they can become territorial with similar-shaped fish or other bottom dwellers, especially in smaller tanks.

A well-structured aquarium with plenty of hiding spots and swimming space is highly recommended. These fish thrive in established aquariums with stable water parameters and good filtration.
