The Gold Stripe Corydoras is a striking and highly sought-after species, known for its metallic green body and bold neon yellow stripe running along its shoulder and side.

Native to Peru, this relatively new and not yet formally described species is believed to be closely related to Corydoras aeneus or C. melanataenia. Its unique coloration and active schooling behaviour make it a standout choice for nano, community, and planted aquariums.

Behaviour & Compatibility

Gold Stripe Corydoras are peaceful, social, and best kept in groups of 6 or more.
