Dwarf Sagittaria (Sagittaria Subulata)
Dwarf Sagittaria (Sagittaria Subulata)
Sagittaria subulata is a perfect foreground plant from South America, known for its easy maintenance. It spreads quickly through short runners, forming a compact group of plants. For optimal growth, place individual plants 2-4 cm apart. This marsh plant has a vibrant green, grass-like appearance with stemless, strap-shaped leaves that form dense clusters. Over time, these clusters can grow to reach the surface of the aquarium. Thanks to its rapid growth and runner propagation, Sagittaria subulata can create a lush, dense "carpet" in your tank.
Care Guidelines:
- CO2: Not Required
- Water Type: Fresh
- Growth Rates: Medium - Fast
- Difficulty Level: Easy
- Nutrient Substrate: Required
- Lighting Requirements: Medium - High
Note: Plants may arrive looking slightly different from the photos as some are grown emersed (out of water). Rest assured, they will quickly adapt and convert to their underwater form once placed in your aquarium.
