The Celestial Pearl Danio is one of the most sought-after nano fish in the aquarium hobby, loved for its peaceful nature, tiny size, and breathtaking coloration.
Also known as the “Galaxy Rasbora,” this stunning species features deep midnight-blue colouring covered in shimmering pearl-like spots, resembling a star-filled night sky. Their vibrant red and orange fins add even more contrast, making them a true standout in planted and nano aquariums.
Peaceful and easy to care for, Celestial Pearl Danios thrive in stable aquariums with excellent water quality and plenty of cover from plants, driftwood, and rockwork. These fish feel most comfortable in groups and are best kept in schools of 6 or more, where they will display their best colours and natural schooling behaviour.
Celestial Pearl Danios also mix well with other peaceful nano fish, including rasboras and other small danio species, creating beautiful movement throughout the aquarium.
We ship these fish as juveniles, typically under 1 inch in size. Younger fish may not yet display the full vibrant colours and pearling seen in mature adults, but as they grow, they develop into one of the most eye-catching nano fish available.
