Please note: The image shown is a sample. Actual fish may vary slightly in appearance.
The Borneo Tiger Fish is a real standout — bold, powerful, and covered in striking vertical black bands across a golden-yellow body. If you're looking for a showpiece predator for your aquarium, this is the one. Also known as the Indonesian Tiger Fish, this species is known for its confident personality and impressive presence.
These fish prefer a spacious aquarium with strong filtration and stable water quality. They are best suited for experienced fishkeepers and do well in setups with robust tankmates that can hold their own. Being a predatory species, they will eat smaller fish — so choose tankmates accordingly.
They do best on a diet of meaty foods, and while they can be a bit picky at first, they generally adapt well to frozen and high-quality carnivore pellets over time. A peaceful but assertive fish, the Borneo Tiger Fish is best kept solo or with similarly sized tankmates.
